That is what one of my JW Facebook friendss typed as a comment to my "What Kingdom Hall Asshole are you?" FB quiz result.

I replied that it is just a joke but I will take it down if it insults my friends!

Many JWs have turned "getting offended" into a science. It's manufactured self-righteousness.

So in response to the "I'll take it down if it offends my friends, she said "Thank you."

Wonder if that was friendly or "still pissed"...

So I wrote in response to that- "Before I take it down, you know you would be "Pioneer Harlot", girl!!!"

Tee hee. Wonder if she will laugh or delete me as a FB friend... Eek!

Yes. I've seen this girl get drunk, flirt with another girl's husband etc. She's no puritan. But they feel they HAVE to be offended at stuff like this even though I KNOW it is something she would laugh at, really. Maybe it is the usee of the word asshole??

Cognetive dissonance at its best!. Its easier to go after you than try to reconsile how she is living her life compared to how she wants to be. Nice answer to her though, i love the word "harlot", i wish it existed in my language :-).

But it CAN exist in your language! You just used it...

On your first statement- I don't think she is that bad anymore- she is married, two kids etc. I think she has toned it down so I guess she is living her life ok. But c'mon! To jump over that little FB app...? I think she sees herself as Sista Superfine maybe. Who knows. They better not shun me if I visit, that would not be cool.
