What's your favorite summertime recipe?

    Vine ripened home grown tomatoes. I eat them plain with salt or on a sandwich with white bread and Duke's mayonnaise.

    We also like Baby Back Ribs. We had some Memorial Day Weekend. We marinated ours in plain Apple Cider Vinegar. And then put BBQ sauce on them at the end of cooking. They were delicious.

    And of course Southern Sweet Iced Tea like has been discussed in another thread.

    I like to grill bell peppers (all different colors) with jalapenos and other hot peppers. Then I saute them in olive oil with a little salt. Next I add some Tequila and flame for effect. I serve this over top of some nice barbecued steaks. If I time it right I can bring the steaks in with the peppers still on fire on top of them. We have this with beans and rice or potato salad. To drink we usaully have Margarita's or white wine before dinner a nice red wine with dinner. Pretty basic but it gets great reviews.
