I've never heard of a Witness refusing surgery just because they are Witnesses. Blood yes. But surgery? I think the Media got this one wrong.

El Kabong, a friend's grandmother recently refused heart surgery because it couldn't be done without blood. Her children put her in hospice and about six weeks later, she died from heart failure. Happens all the time.

Prince used to be so hip.

Bedeviled by physical ailments and making an embarrassing spectacle of himself, Prince is becoming scarily similar to Michael Jackson.I'd say lots of straight-laced JWs are either holding their breath waiting for this small guy to commit a real public gaffe or would like to see him booted out of the kingdom.

I know Prince can afford those Gold plated hips with diamond studs so what's his problem??

now turned into need for a double hip replacement.
Does he need his hips replaced because of all the gyrating he did on stage in the 80's?

He’s popping pain killers and hoping it will all go away.
He’s popping pain killers and hopping.
Fixed that for you .
Do you think if he died, they'd put Prince's face on the cover of Awake mags showing that he died for his faith?
Or maybe they should have a cafe with memorabilia, like Hard Rock. It would be full.
MJ's Thriller outfit, Venus Williams' transparent blouses, Teresa Graves' vampire teeth, President Eisenhower's Army uniform, Simon's keyboard.

St Ann: You are comparing apples and oranges. Heart Surgery of course would require blood transfusions. Hips, not so much.
Witnesses do not refuse surgery just based on the fact that they are witnesses. The article is misleading.
