We just had a storm pass through here. It's called Bow Echo Winds(very fast moving storm winds), It is about the entire length of the state of Arkansas, now headed for TN.....you all watch out!!!!

Broke alot of tree limbs here, one almost going through our front living room window. Looked like the hurricane winds swaying the trees like I saw in FL from Fay last year. Blew stuff around and things got broken in the shop. I don't think we have any more floaties or rafts for the pool in the vicinity, they are blown away.

Never heard of this kind of storm before, but there is extensive damage through out the state.

Those east of us, take precaution.

Thanks, purplesofa, it looks like they might be headed for North Georgia. I'm going to be on the lookout.

Neat picture, that's probably the same stuff that went through the Dallas area Wed./Thur. We had the tornado sirens go off wed evening.

I heard these storms are also called Derecho storms. I wish we had such interesting weather where I live.

Scarred, hope you did not get what we did.

Just walked around to look what's up or gone, all pool chairs are blown out in the field, shingles off the roof, stuff blown over and broken, rafts.......just gone. We just got home from going out to eat and there are trees down all over and power out in parts of the town. We were lucky only to get flickers of it going off. I suppose there were some tornados, some are saying there were but I have not heard conformation on the news.

villabolo, storms are very exciting, love them, love to watch them and feel them.

In SoCal we get autumn santa ana winds from the eastern desert. It is clear and dry, and the fire danger is high at those times.
