  We call them nit pickers here. My hall was infested with them, and the elders were the worst.

  Going to a meeting was like visiting the gorilla exhibit at the zoo, except you had to be in the cage.

  There were several Theocratic Nit Picking School graduates and many more that were studying the book.

  I'm pretty sure we call them nit pickers here too. I've never heard the term nit biter.

  A more relevant question would probably be:

  Were there any who weren't nit biters (pickers) in your congregation?

  Nit picking seems to be indocrinated into JWs - it's a part of the culture.
