This really works...!
If you don't believe it, just try this experiment:
Put your dog and your wife in the trunk of the car for an hour.
When you open the trunk, which one is really happy to see you?

I appreciate that, Blithe.
John Doe, I'm talking perfume - not toilet water or scented soap.
It's like 100+ degrees here, perfume would be too cloying.
I need to do something with it, I would hate for it to go to waste.
It smells rancid after a while, you know.

A little in your bath water sounds like a good idea..............................................OUTLAW

Thanks, Outlaw.
It should be so diluted by the water that the aroma shouldn't be too potent.
I hope some of your gentlemanly qualities will rub off on Doe.

Sylvia, You can also put a few drops on a cloth or hanky and tuck them in your drawers (dresser), makes all your clothes smell nice.
1 drop of perfume , on a cold light bulb , when turned on will make your bedroom smell nice too.

You are wise and right, Blithe.
Once, in order to create a certain ambience, I sprayed some directly on a lit bulb!
Suffice it to say, I never did that again.

Another idea is to spray some on a paper towl or cloth and tuck it into all your dresser drawers, or closets where you keep sheets etc. I would also water it down into a spray bottle, and use it on sheets before you make the bed or if you iron sheets spray with the watered down version and then iron. (Shake bottle first!)
I agree, real perfume, does not last too long, it gets rancid. Keep it in your refrigerator to maintain shelf life.
What scents do you have?

I think it's time to house clean my bedroom and get a little ambience going too!
