Pardon the interruption....
Snowbird has been criticized for using 2 words in the last couple of days. Brouhaha which is French in origin, and Behoove which is Old English.
It makes for interesting reading to see words not used very often in their correct context.

I LOVE WORDS.
In college, I was often called a word warrior, wordsmith, word powerhouse, etc.
Whenever we had to submit a paper, mine was always the one held as an example for others to aspire.
I don't use words in an attempt to show off. I simply love them.

As an example, you could have said "I'm a sesquipedalian girl" and replaced this entire paragraph.
