Have you ever had your palm read, fortune told, or read your horoscope etc?

  After reading the ouji board thread, I wondered if anyone had "dared" anything of this nature.

  I was always too scared to even watch movies with any of this content. I do read my horoscope. My great aunt was into the occult and she was told she would die before she was 50 when she was in her 30's. Sure enough she passed at 49.

  I had some horrible experiences in my teens, and one of my cousins in her 20's. No dreams, wide awake actual hair standing on end stuff.

  Do you believe in any of it or is it all just a bunch of horseshixt made up to scare people into various religions?

  I've had my palm read (first time she was way off base), and tarot cards read, have a number for a psycic that my cousin gave me that I might go see. The last time I had my tarot done was about a year ago, and during the part of the reading that had to do with my present sitution, she was so accurate the hairs on the back of my neck stood up!

  I have no fear of such things. I do have some interest in trying out a fortune teller (just for kicks), but I can't bring myself to actually pay for such a service (scam).

  I've had a reading by someone who knew what they were doing based on date of birth.

  And it took several hours to compile.

  And what it reveals is scary. It can pretty much peg who you are personality wise.

  My wife had a reading at the same time, it pegged her also.

  It seems it must be based on the idea the universe is expanding and we have little control

  of what we are, what we like and dislike.

  It does seem that at any given moment we can make a decision to go against our instincts

  or with them.

  But, we are what we are. And a legitimate reading will tell you who you are.

  Based on that you may better or worsen your predicament.

  I suspect Astrology in the hands of someone who has studied it is valid and real.

  And thats why organized religion is against it.

  Because religion is fraud and phony and they dont want any competition for your entertainment dollar.

  The truth about who we are and where we came from is hidden and burried by madison ave, Hollywood,

  Mass media, the press and big business.

  Even if you find out who and what you are.

  No one gets out alive.

  Mastadon, I have always wanted to do a tarot reading but was too scared...thats where my great aunt got her reading.

  jaguarbass....I had a huge book that described everthing....and it seems after moving several times I've misplaced the book.

  It did seem to describe, personalities, physical problems and emotions. It was never wrong!!!!!!!

  Everyone loved to read it.
