This is a question for the guys on this board. I have seen and read so many cases where very succesful men throw their careers, relationships and reputations away over a bit of booty. Is there some tipping point in a males setup that causes the lower head to completely overrule any and all of the directions from the upper one?

Yes. The lower head often does run the show.

My gut feeling is not so much that the "tipping point" is based on "the booty" - I think there comes a "tipping point" in relation to one's perceived power. As in, "I'm so powerful I can get away with anything." It seems to be the common thread with all these guys.

Chris Rock said: "Men are as faithful as their options." I find that to be true in most cases. Not all, of course, but most.

Another popular saying states: "Never shit where you eat." Which means: don't have an affair with someone from work or that mght put your career in jeopardy. Senator John Ensign comes to mind...

I don't understand why these women go along with it.

    Men in general?

    Quite a broad brush-stroke.

Women aren't as likely to cheat?

    Dear Worldlygirl,

Your question reminds me of the advice a P.O gave a brother who confessed to adultery, this was years ago before I had heard the expression ,he said "So-and-so, learn to think with your brain instead of your dick !" This P.O's daughter also had commited a dis-fellowshipping offense, just a little time before, but she persuaded her J.C not to DF her, I wonder if her obviously spiritual Dad had any influence ?

But back to topic, it is incredible how many top guys fall this way, I am sure it is a combination of arrogance on their part , and the work of their enemies as well, when a man reaches a certain position he is worth toppling.

Women cheat, but it's still our fault when they do.

Maybe it's because men aren't wired to be monogomous...maybe we're meant to sow our seed across the land(s).
