Dying at Armageddon doesn't sound so bad to me. I just get to be unconscious for the rest of my life. Hell, maybe I will be someone else in Paradise without remembering who I was in my previous life.

I am so sorry that your mother would even consider telling you something like that... it speaks to someone who is so desensetized to her feelings she isnt really thinking of what she is saying... Have you questioned her on what exactly does she mean, does she know what she is saying?? I cant think, that as a mother whose son is not in the truth, that I would dare to be so presumptuous as to believe he would not have a chance... I can only relate to the biblical examples given in the bible, how many came out of Egypt with the Israelites, how many with good hearts, with faith in Jesus and God, who dont want to tow the WT line.... Jesus said, those with FAITH in Him..... if you have that, and ask for help with your understanding, no one can judge..

JW's who say that do so because others have told them they have to try and wake up the weak, inactive etc relatives. Thats all.

They don't realize that in rejecting the fairy tale of "Paradise earth" and living forever in a world populated by JW's wearing clothes found at a Leave it to Beaver garage sale, that we also rejected any fear of death by stupid angry YHWH.
