I never did get the 64 count box. I was so jealous of one little girl that had the one with the sharpener built into the box.

I went to kindergarten at a JW school...talk about sucking ass. I was really smart they said so they moved me up to 1st grade after 6 weeks.
I loved the 64 packe of crayons. When I grew up I wanted to be the person to invent another color. I just knew there was another color out there waiting for me to discover it.

I always loved periwinkle blue... the name, the color, everything about it!

I did find the 64 box inadequate. I thought of melting a few crayons together to make additional colors in fact.

I used to melt crayons on my night light. I loved periwinkle blue, too.

I tried using several crayons on top of each other to make new colors. Now I do the same with colored inks.
Due to medical issues I had to sit still for long periods of time as a kid. Coloring kept my sanity.
