Are you saying that Obama will not face a primary challenger, or are you saying that she would lose in the primary?

I'm saying it's very rare for the incumbent to not get the nomination from his party. He will have to screw up quite royally in the next four years.

It is my opinion that this is what Hillary would love to see.

You are correct about the incumbent usually not being challenged.

If the economy improves, Obama runs unchallenged in the primary. If it does not turn around (significantly), he will face challengers, in my opinion.

It does seem like that we never hear anything about her or what she is doing. We used to hear about Condelezza Rice all the time. It seems that the Obama administration is keeping her out of sight.

I don't know about her running in 2012. But definitely in 2016!

I don't think Obama likes her or trusts her.

I thought it was quite interesting to see how Obama tapped Joe Biden to go to Iraq rather than Hillary.

I think Hill may be kind of in the doghouse because of her self-serving "get tougher on Iran over the killing of protestors" and her initial reluctance to support that Marxist Honduran president who was ousted over trying to set aside their constitutional rule of presidential term limits ala Hugo Chavez.

She won the thing on Iran, and kind of knuckled under on Honduras, but the remaining friction is plain to see.

There is political danger here if Obama is not careful. As pointed out, the Clinton's have long memories. Traditonally, like all other cabinet picks, the Sec of State serves at the pleasure of the President. He can ask for her resignation anytime he wants. If that happens, and his administration has issues (it may already have enough) watch for a "you see you should have elected me" run from Hilary in 2012.

Although rare, it has happened. McCarthy and Kennedy vs LBJ in 68, Ted Kennedy v Carter in 1980, which was a harder fight than most people think about.

Frankly, I'm surprised both that he offered the job, and that she took it. Makes you wonder what deals were struck in the back room.

For such a major job, Hillary has no experience to be in it. Hillary is one of the scariest people to ever have such an important position and influence. And she is as phony as a three dollar bill. Hillary is all about Hillary and nothing about the United States of America, and more importantly its people. She and hubby are probably the two most dysfunctional and sick people to have ever held high office in this Country. Bill Clinton is a pragmatic narcississist. Hillary is an unreformed Marxist and, well, just plain evil.

Obama is also an unreformed Marxist, but Hillary is far more dangerous. John McCain is a pimp, wimp and an embarrassment to his own party. The only breath of fresh air on the national horizon has been crucified by the blood-thirsty press and she is a woman!

We are in for a bumpy ride, folks! I, for one, am voting against EVERY incumbant in every position in every election and hope others do the same. We need some fresh people representing us until they start to also become thieves and traitors and then we should vote them out too! Barbara Boxer can go to hell. So can Diane Feinstein. Jerry Brown is a freak. Nancy Pelosi is your worst nightmare. And that is just in my home state.

That's funny, because in Europe, Hillary is in the news a lot.

Maybe it's because american news and papers give more attention to american news and less to foreign news.

Condaleezza Rice and Madeline Albright were also a lot in the european news.

Hillarys passion was/is Health Care, I don't think she has the drive and passion for foreign affairs. She cares about women and their rights.

When she was being considered, I became more aware of Condaleeza Rice as Secretary of State, and thought of Colin Powell and Kissenger.

Hillary just does not have the kind of factual mind these others have IMO.

Even considering this question, I don't even know what the women has done that has been so great. Not saying that she has not, I just don't know.

Purps and the rest of the americans,

I think your forgetting one verry important thing.

For a minister of Foreign affairs it is also important what the the other countries think of that person.

And I know for a fact that in Europe Hillary has got a verry good reputation.

In Europe we like women with balls.. and we think she's got the experience from the time she went all over the world when she was the first lady.

They trust her and that's verry important. So you americans should not be affraid, but be glad!

I think she repair a lot of the damage that has been caused by bush.
