A fireman holds a 2-year-old girl while he tries to close a window to stop the girl's father from jumping out of an apartment building in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan province, on July 7. Authorities say the father had taken drugs and dangled the girl from the eighth-floor window. The girl was rescued and her father was safely taken into custody.
