Some persons are now talking about reading the Bible, that we should read "just the Bible." Well, that's what Christendom's churches have been telling the people to do for centuries and look at the mess that's resulted. It's good to remember that we were the Watch
Tower Tract Society for a long time before we became the The Watch Tower BIBLE [emphasis: FF] and Tract Society. Only in comparatively recent times have we actually published Bibles. The sole purpose of our existence as a Society is to announce the Kingdom established in 1914 and to sound the warning of the fall of Babylon the Great. We have a special message to deliver.

Did anyone ever realize that the real reason why just reading the Bible has resulted in this mess is that the Bible lies? Yup, the Bible itself lies--promises of a God that will do something other than single out one for His nefarious purposes, telling us to love a God that happily initiates the use of deadly force on people for minding their own businesses, putting stock examples in the Bible solely to get out of ever seeing people really happy, and plunging mankind into one Dark Ages so far, and working OT on the Second Dark Ages. This tells me what a rotten God Jehovah is (Allah is no better--the Quran also lies).

And, if the Bible itself lies, anyone building a society based on it is going to be no better. But, when you twist the original lies around to serve oneself, you only add even worse to the mess. People wasting their whole lives in field circus, dying in their 40s and 50s of diseases brought on by the stress or the foul environment brought on by their ministry (misery), and losing opportunities all around does not constitute the best way of living. The Washtowel Babble and Crap Slaveholdery merely took a bad situation and made it even worse.

I guess when there was an identified president, the focus was a bit more clear, seems like they have a GB right now with in essence no direction, seem very reactionary to me. About the only focus they seem to have in on glorifying themselves, the July Watchtower and the DC release on Acts both seem to all but deify the Governing Body...
