Crap!! I was doing a little modification on a dress, and I had some straight pins holding it together. I had to try it on of course, and when I went to take it off I forgot about the straight pins. Now I have an inch long cut straight up from just under my lower lip right up over my upper lip halfway to my nose!
That's when I decided to start listening to some heavy metal. I have a fat bloody snarl to go with it.

Beksbks, I am sorry to hear about your accident. I hope the heavy metal makes you feel better. But if not, try bowling. You can hurl a heavy ball at pins!

oh OUCH girl!! My sister in law was making a bedspread and managed to run her index finger UNDER the moving needle and it went all the way through her nail to the other side of her finger.
Damn near put her into shock. We sat in the ER for almost 2 hours before anybody saw her too... "because she wasnt bleeding" geeeeeeeeeeeez.

I hope you heal up ok! Seems the older we get, the wounds don't heal up as nicely. Get yourself some scar repair ointment....about $15.00 but worth it. Available at your local drug store.( advertised as stretch mark repair)
I've had a nasty accident in the last year to my face. It was a very large Vine I was cutting down covered with 3 inch thorns. I was hacking away holding a huge limb down, and lost my grip. The sucker whipped back up and gave me a puncture wound right next to my eye. Just 1/8 inch closer, I would have lost my eye. The scar pretty much disappeared except when I get tired, I can still see where the thorn hit.

While it's no longer visible, Paul McCartney has a scar on his upper lip. The scar helped spread the "Paul is Dead" urban legend, but the mark is really the result of a motorcycle accident. The accident occurred shortly before the release of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band , which caused the self conscious musician to grow a mustache for the album cover. The rest of the band grew some facial hair in support.
