The best state would be Florida.........lots of old people so less competition for available females in your age bracket, no winter, WDW..shall I go on?
No competition? What fun is that? What's WDW?
Oh, and FWIW, I hate the sun and I hate the heat.

Well, Mr. Doe, if you ever come in town let me know and I'll take you to the top of the arch myself (provided I am not at work, of course). I'll introduce you to the Hill and maybe show you some other sites worth seeing ;)
Sounds fun. I might have to take you up on that.
Lemme know ;)

If you go to the Hill, be sure and play some bocce ball. And eat some awesome Italian food ever!!!!
Been there lots of times!!!!!

Bocce Ball Thrives On The Hill By Pam Droog Jone, a freelance writer based in Jefferson City, Mo.
The Hill is well known for its colorful Italian heritage, top-rated restaurants, enticing grocery stores...and, of course, bocce ball. In fact, the region’s headquarters for the traditional Italian sport is the St. Louis Bocce Club at 2210 Marconi Ave
Jackie,
Never went to a meeting when my aunt lived in Florissant or an assembly.
We lived in the area of Halls Ferry and Florrisant Road, if I remember correctly
those names correctly.
Then I was in the second grade.
I have been to the Assembly Hall in St Charles a few years back.

Not a big fan of Bocce Ball, myself. But there is no finer italian food than you will find at Cunnetto's on the Hill, in my opinion. Of course, I'm wierd so what do I know? I know a lot of people prefer Charlie Gitto's and my dad is a fan of Favazza's... but neither holds a candle to Cunnetto's in my book ;)
I've never been to the assembly hall in St. Charles, and am grateful for that fact. The fewer places I can say I've been to a meeting or an assembly the better.
New Halls Ferry is correct. Snakes and I have lunch near there when he is not crazy busy with school and his new girl ;) Florissant Rd. could refer to either New Florissant or West Florissant. Either way they are both in the area of New Halls Ferry and not far from me at all.

Something else, at Forrest Park, the paddle boats, many many years ago,
some of my family, the Gualdoni's ran that at Forrest Park. Not even sure if it's still
being done these days, this was in the 50's 60's. Needless to say, the Gualdoni's
spent allot of time on the Hill and took us kids. We lived in So St Louis close
to Chippewa and Kingshighway, I hear it's very run down now.
John Doe, I think you would like St Louis very much, it has just about anything
you could want except for an ocean. And it's not too far from home!!!
Thanks for letting me use your thread to go down Memory Lane!!!

Believe it or not, I don't have fond memories of St. Louis, but that's a very long story.
Is Six Flags any good?
Ha, Been there too,
Went there for school picnic at the end of the year and had a nice BF
and we went on some water ride, like the Tunnel of Love and he kissed
me when it was dark........I think I was in the 6th grade!!!! woohoo
I did hear that Six Flags is going bankrupt though.
We got time to hear your story!!!!
Six Flags is excellent! Of course if the weather is too hot you spend the day in the water park only, but that's a lot of fun, too ;)
Let's see... depending upon what you like...
Six Flags
The Science Center
The City Museum (which is not anything like what it sounds)
The Art Museum
The Botanical Gardens
Grant's Farm
The Butterfly House
The St. Louis Zoo
The History Museum
We have casinos, a lot of blues bars, etc.
Fox Theater
Many options...
