Fortunately God doesn't expect a showcase to impress people but just people worshiping him and learning about him even if it isn't impressive and dispised by you and others.

Why worship god? Is he that insecure that he has to be reminded again and again how great he is?

I pose that the god of the Bible is narcisistic and histrionic.

And no one can tell me that god doesn't want people to have morbid fear of him.

Isn't a fear of displeasing him morbid in itself when the punishment of not doing so is death?

If god was a woman, she'd have the motherly instinct and love to protect her children from vindictive He Gods.
