As a teenager, I, too, saw issues with the WTS/JWs and that was back in the 1970s. Life has been difficult since my parents got sucked in but their children did not.
You are very fortunate to have a loving spouse who shares your viewpoint about the WTS. I look forward to reading and sharing more with you. Your wife is more than welcome to sign-up.

IRONHILL- Welcome to the forum ! You are among people who care and understand. I too have relatives in the witnesses still - so it can be a challenge in moving on and fading from the witnesses while still nurturing JW friendships with relatives and/or friends. It's possible but there are tricks of the trade to do it successfully. Feel free to ask questions of any here on the board to learn how some here have done it !
