That's one of the appeals of JWR for me pp.
I think I've mentioned before that I think some people need the WT to be invincible.

I think this action would jsut result in a convuluted QFR justifying the WT requiring it of its members while denoucing others for not giving that freedom. Shunning is their most powerful stronghold. If they give up that then they might as well drop their teaching that they are the FDS>

I think it is good to expose the hateful practices of the WTBS, in any way you can.
I started being more verbal about this despicable practice to the JW's I deal with, daily, **heavy sigh.**
However, IMHO, the WTBS has power because people carry out it's bidding. If people would stand up to them, (I understand there are consequences), and refuse to treat people like the WTBS tells them, the WTBS loses in the end.

Those who need it to be invicible are the ones who are still giving it power? I dunno, but interesting take. I'll need to check JWR a bit more thoroughly.

Anyone heard of the tipping point? We feel this sort of thing won't work, so we don't try it, or we assume everyone else is/has tried it.

With the attitude that they are governed from the heavens, I cannot see them reacting one jot to a letter campaign from outsiders, especially since they will know it was orchestrated - after all they believe they take instruction from a higher power...
