Ok... Prove that God exists.
Of course, in future NWTs I can see 1 John 4:1 rewritten as follows:

Side remark: the NWT destroys the contextual flow of the argument by shifting from "Spirit" (3:24) to "inspired expression" (4:1-6) and then back to "Spirit" (4:13; 5:6,8) for the same Greek word pneuma -- mind you, there is no chapter break in the "originals".

"test every inspired expression......" which means anyone can say that something is inspired OR that every expression is always inspired? Interesting. Either way, test it. The way I test things now, is how does it make me feel. When something feels like good energy, to me it's closer to the Source. We've been taught to ignore our inner, God given intuition............wf
For the record Jw's have never claimed inspiration for their publications only biblical inspiration, the bible is the source for what they preach...
they also prayer for holy spirit guidance towards the princples of the bible scriptures.

This is a great scripture. Not surprisingly, the WTS doesn't cite it very often.
It's interesting that if a Witness follows this scriptural command and applies it to the WTS, that Witness can get into a bit of trouble. That should tell you something.

Thats exactly what I am doing also, am reading some of Bart Ehrman book, "misquoting Jesus' and Jesus, Interrupted, seems not all in the "holy?? Scriptures is what they seem to be.
