Some of the memorable moments today would be:
1) The nutty mother on stage with her little boy who became an unbaptized publisher at 6. I missed his current age, but he was a tiny little kid, couldn't be much older than a couple years over 6. Tomorrow he gets baptized.
2) The husband and wife couple who work part-time to pioneer, but wanted to do more so they sold their home, down-sized to one car and made other adjustments to make their lives more simple to put the kingdom first. (what a cult)
3) The announcement we can now make donations via plastic at the terminals in the lobby. I made eye contact with my dad during that announcement and smiled because he was "stumbled" when he first heard of that "new arrangement" at the service meeting a few months back.
4) The jackasses being excited about the new song book. Same crap sounding music, now with new and improved loaded language.
Fortunately, I only made it for the afternoon session because I decided to sleep in and enjoy my lunch before going to that hell. I got there after it started, so I avoided being love-bombed by people telling me how they miss seeing me at the meetings. I fled after the final 10 minute prayer to avoid being stuck in the parking lot for an hour trying to leave while some pitted-up-pus-faced-14-year-old-in-a-suit tries to direct a few thousand cars out of a parking lot in 90 degree heat. God forbid they pay some money to have the police direct traffic for once. Bastards.
Tomorrow I'll have to get there a little earlier because someone I know and value is unfortunately dedicating his life to the WT$, and I told him I'd be there to see it.
Two more days of hearing BS being spewed out of the anus of the WT$...
