    WHOA! Just a minute here.

"Starting in 1918, angels were used to help teach the remnant the Truth."

The WT angels are demon angels, so in that light, maybe this is true. The organization is under stong demonic influence. Are they cutting deals with these demons to deliver the obedient mindless JW slaves into their hands?

The problem is that most people assume angels to be "good". And these are not "good" angels.

"These, to a large extent, replaced the Holy Spirit as the medium"

Replaced the holy spirit? Then according to this the Holy Spirit would have to be an entity. The Holy Spirit is not a person; it is not an angel, nor is it a lesser god.

The Holy Spirit simply means the Spirit of Truth.

It is that emotion in your conscience that resonates when you recognize good or bad, and you choose good. Holy Spirit is available to each and everyone. It is a matter of personal choice as to whether you make Truth important. The "Pearl of Great Price" is truth. Holy Spirit is that "knowing" that comes from your own spirit.

"the medium or channel through which Jehovah "

A medium is a conjurer of spirits.

Channelling is an occult term. It is a method of contacting spirits, whether through trance, automatic writing, or ouija board.

So apparently, the GB is using a ouija board to make contact for instructions.

If jehovah is so mighty, you'd think he could just materialize and talk like regular folk.

I think jehovah is an evil demon. Maybe he's the leader of the pack.

A comment made at the KH on paragraph 9 referring to the death of Stephen and James was that Jehovah always provides a way out. Hence Jehovah allowed the deaths of these two servants because that was a way out from further suffering. That was so comforting.

On paragraph 18, two elders stated that if an angel appears to you or speak to you today, then it is not from Jehovah but from Satan. So only Satan's angels can directly communicate with people today, not Jehovah's angels.

Get the right twist on anything and it will become right.

One from their midst was no longer content with praising Jehovah but desired to be worshipped. He made himself Satan (meaning "Resister") by challenging the rightfulness of Jehovah's rulership and by launching an ambitious attempt to set up a rival sovereignty.

The Origin Of Satan by Elaine Pagels outlines the development of Satan through the centuries of Israelite worship; the word means resister in the earliest languages, and he does not become the embodiment of evil until the Israelites were exposed to different religious ideas during the exile, especially Zoroastrianism.

The idea that Satan was always the 'prince of darkness' does not mesh with Israelite religion, the source the WT thinks they base their beliefs on.

Do the bobbing heads really know what the GB is feeding them?EX.P15.they believe the angels learn from the GB(God's ORG.)Unbelieviable. P16.The anointed sisters on Earth are shit yet these very ones will rule in heaven.P12 We would not expect angels to rescue or protect us if we were to engage in reckless behavior......not taking unnecessary risks. So why do you take risks and preach where you are told not to,ie China,Russia

"Grand deliverance from Satan's wicked system of things is just ahead."

Yes, just ahead, like it always has been for the last 120 years when C T Russell penned his very first Watchtower article. Let us have pity for the 7 million brainwashed, incredulous, gullible mugs who swallow this doomsday crap week in, week out.

Really, you would think that the women's movement never happened, by the tone of paragraph 16.

The godly conduct of Christian women is noted by the angels. The Bible shows that "the woman ought to have a sign of authority upon her head because of the angels." (1 Cor. 11:3, 10) Yes, angels are pleased to see Christian women and all other earthly servants of God comply with theocratic order and headship. Such obedience is a fitting reminder for these heavenly sons of God.

Actually, it is PAUL that says this, his opinion, (didn't he say he was a madman? Didn't he say he was caught away to a 3rd paradise for some reason? Was Paul schizophrenic? Did he have visions that today would put him into lockup?) and some think it is because the women in the early groups were more involved and powerful than the men. Paul also said there is no man or woman, no jew or greek; which Paul should we believe?

But really, anytime you hear the word obedience in an article the issue is all about power; all must obey the elders, and women must be obedient to both the elders and their husbands.

Articles like this contribute to the ongoing rot in the organization; what motivation is there for women when the thrust of material about them is about being obedient to men? The WT has plenty of advice about obeying, but none about innovation or developing real leaders, not just company men who tow the line.

The line is not working; who at WT headquarters knows how to go forward when every single thing they have forecast has crumbled? No 1914, 1915, 1925, 1975; no generation; no crumbling of religion, no throwing money in the streets. The blood doctrine will be abandoned within 10 years, you can see the writing on the wall. Voting is a cloudy issue. Alternative military service is now an option; I know 5 men who went to prison and one who was sentenced to alternative military service for refusing it when it was forbidden. The single thing you come away with from the DC in the summer? Go in service more, even though it isn't working; obey the elders, and for God's sake, PLEASE USE ONLY ONE TOWEL. And don't even think of going to college; those who go to college want riches, or fame, or are lacking in faith. Well, WT, you get what you ask for: a fellowship who can't think, who makes less than all their peers, and now can't CONTRIBUTE at the level you want.

The WT is to religion what North Korea is to the free world: Leadership is abominable, the structure is in decline, the people are cowed and suffering, but leadership can't be voted out or fired, only "obeyed" and "respected".

    pp 12:

In reproving those who "speak abusively" of Jehovah’s anointed servants, the apostle Peter points to the fine example of the righteous angels. Although they have great power, the angels humbly refrain from making judgmental accusations "out of respect for Jehovah" (Read 2 Peter 2:9-11.) Let us also keep free from improper judging, respect those entrusted with oversight in the congregation, and leave matters in the hands of Jehovah, the Supreme Judge.

Another paragraph where they put themselves in God's league; breathtaking how arrogant they are. So that means that when the elders told little 8 year old Angela that she misunderstood her brother raping her and she should let bygones be bygones, we should all respect that advice? Would Jehovah tell those elders, Hey good job, little Angela will get over it and meanwhile we avoid bad publicity (at least for now)?

The WT is led by short term thinkers; by conformists; by corporate level lawyers; by men who never studied Greek, or Hebrew, or Aramaic; never read about German scholarship in the 1800's; by men who may believe that child sexual abuse is caused by little girls climbing into older mens laps; by men who do think that a 5 year old child can hold her hand up and stop an adult from sexually abusing her. Don't believe me? Just check the latest Teacher book.

    Great job Blondie

Another poorly written article about the same story I have heard almost every time. First, "free will" to them means "everything you do is what you are told to do, and if you do anything else or fail to do exactly what you are told, you are wicked". Is this the "new order" I am supposed to enjoy?

And asking for proof that Satan wanted worship is appropriate. I am about to present another equally sensible theory--Satan saw a potential problem, seeing that God's rulership was going to become oppressive. God was going to hold mankind down into stagnation, and never allow anyone anything good. Satan, whose job was to look after humans, saw this and took action to prevent this--effectively setting mankind free of this stagnation. For this, God got p***ed off and threw His tantrum, resulting in Satan getting punished for going above and beyond his call of duty. Notably, this is very common--the Establishments today punish anyone that dares do anything that might free mankind.

Since the Washtowel Slaveholdery expects everyone to believe everything they put out and stake their lives on it, it is not unreasonable to demand absolute proof. Can they prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Satan actually became jealous for something that was not his? Can they prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he didn't merely take a proactive stand against a developing tyranny? Until they can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt the above, they have no right to insist that people not cross-reference the issue and come up with independent theories.

"Grand deliverance from Satan's wicked system of things is just ahead."

As with all mirages, once you get to where you think they are, they have moved or vanished.

JESUS CHRIST warned any who might stumble his followers: "See to it that you men do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that their angels in heaven always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven." (Matt. 18:10)

God’s Word says: “Behave like free men, and never use your freedom as an excuse for wickedness.” (1 Peter 2:16, JB)

Jehovah created man "a little lower than angels" but in His "image," thus enabling humans to reflect the Creator's lofty qualities. (Heb. 2:7; Gen. 1:26)

Many a time in the past, as well as the present, I see how their writing style hasn't changed. I am still struck with the thought of how this is all male and how I have a real hard time relating to any of it.
