I was listening to NPR early this morning and this artist was featured. He does some amazing stuff that you would need a magnifying glass to see. His work is on tour in the US (it's in Los Angeles right now). I would so love to see his work up close. He's also a really handsome guy and I just love his british accent.

wow, 20 million dollars, not too shabby for someone that can neither read or write.

I don't know how he does it.

For my drawings, I wanted to be more detailed and started using .03 lead.

That was pretty small for me, and to think his scultures are smaller than the

    tip of that lead.

Yes, he probably is the most patient man on the planet.

    That is astonishing.

It seems that the structured educational system often weeds out the genuises.

Einstein and Stephen King were also told they would not amount to anything!

"It seems that the structured educational system often weeds out the genuises."

The school system is designed to encourage conformity. That is why some incredibly intelligent people struggle in school -- because to be a genius is to be different.

"It seems that the structured educational system often weeds out the genuises."

That brings to mind another British artist: Stephen Wiltshire, he's autistic and draws highly detailed pictures from memory.
