My wife is in and I am out. I was never baptised but I had never opposed the religion. I thought that if there was such a thing as a true religion that, that was it. A few years ago I looked into it like you did. Once they see you with that Apostate hat on, it is damned near impossible to stuff it back into its box long enough for them to listen to anything you have to say.
It is a difficult situation, but we are hanging in. It took her a couple of years to stop verbally attacking me.
I don't 'tell' her anything any more, but I have asked a few questions without insisting on an answer. She knows I have a problem with 607 and that I can prove my point using WT litterature, She knows I have asked my father the same question and that he hasn't answered it. She knows that I think that their non-response is a very good indication that they are full doo doo, and she knows that if she attacks me on anything that I will just ask her for a king list .... again .... and she doesn't want to go there.
