Did you know that Isaac Newton took his measuring tape and went to Giza?
I have all ideas that this propaganda about measuring pyramids is a ridiculous cover story for a secret society initiation ritual that goes on there!

Did you know that Isaac Newton got a big write up promotion in the LDS magazine Meridian?
I wonder if they base a lot of their religious propaganda on his "calculations"?
"Sir Isaac Newton interpreted the Book of Daniel....providing insights which are still profound today".
I wonder how much of the WT Daniel Book is based on this one man's interpretions?
Voltaire wrote an essay on Newton. The way I read it, it seems to imply that no one would have paid him any attention at all and that he would have "starved" in obscurity if it had not been for certain connections involving favoritisms. See what you think:
quote:
I had a notion in my younger days that Newton had made his fortune by his extraordinary merit. I made no doubt that both court and city at London had created him, with one common consent, chief manager and supreme director of the coin of the kingdom. I was herein greatly mistaken; Sir Isaac Newton had a pretty niece, called Mrs. Conduite, who had the good fortune to please the lord high treasurer, Halifax . Had it not been for this handsome niece, his doctrine of gravitation and infinitesimals had been wholly useless to him, and he might have starved with all his talents.

Newton had the "Prediction Fever" so prevalently found in WT shenanigans.
quote:
Sir Isaac Newton predicted the world would end in the year 2060, scribbling the date on a piece of paper, according to theories uncovered by academics in Jerusalem.
The prophecy has been unearthed from little-known handwritten manuscripts in a library, a BBC documentary due to screen on Saturday will show.

Did you know that Isaac Newton wrote a Daniel Book and a Revelation book, too?
Yes, he did. He combined his interpretations of those two Bible books and he titled his version of things The Apocalypse.
I wonder how much of the WT Daniel book and the Revelation Climax book are based on this one man's peculiar interpretations?

More from Voltaire's essay:
Newton invented the calculation of infinites; he has discovered and demonstrated a new principle, which sets the universe in motion.
Light was wholly unknown before his time.
There were only confused and false ideas of it, till Newton pronounced the most admirable fiat, and said, "Let light be known," and light was known.
(Doesn't this sound a bit like Gore inventing the internet?)

Oops. Another Fail.
Sir Issacc Newton's interpretation of the "70 weeks" found in the book
of Daniel is, indeed, different from most modern interpretations. In
brief, Newton believed that the 70 weeks mentioned in the Bible
represent 490 years--which ended with the death of Jesus Christ. (His
interpreation brings the return of Christ in somewhere in 1990s; the
exact date is debated.)(from "Newton's
Prophecies of Daniel," as quoted by ProphecyCountdown.com,http://www.prophecycountdown.com/articles/newton.html )found on google answers

* Newton believed that Pythagoras must have known about Gravity, and even
toyed with the idea of including margin notes attesting it.
* He, for that reason, did not use his "fluxions", but rather geometric proofs
which he thought would have been more accessible to geometers of Pythagoras's
era.
* He also believed that Hebrews before the Great Flood knew of the atomic
structure of matter

"Newton considered himself to be one of a select group of individuals who were
specially chosen by God for the task of understanding Biblical scripture."

Oh nos--another JWs leader!
"Producer Malcolm Neaum says: Newton prayed daily for the end of the world
which he believed would herald the Second Coming of Christ. This would usher in
the 1000 year rule of the Saints and Newton believed he would then take his
place as Chief Saint."

Problem: The Washtowel Slaveholdery claims that Newton may well be one of those who is in heaven, ruling us now. Newton was a free thinker.
If Newton were a witless today, chances are good that he would soon find himself disfellowshipped for apostasy. Now, how is it that he could be ruling (or helping to rule) us now, and not doing anything about what the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger is doing to prevent independent thinking? And, I would reckon that Newton and Boozerford would not get along well with each other.

Newton discovered calculus. He was a pretty smart guy...but a bit looney too.

Glenster:"This would usher in the 1000 year rule of the Saints and Newton believed he would then take his

Wizard: As always you acerbic wit delights and your astute observations are spot on!
Wizard: "The Washtowel Slaveholdery claims that Newton may well be one of those who is in heaven, ruling us now."
Whhhhaaaattt?
Is Newton of the WT "nearly perfect" class?
Is perfection now judged according to pseudo intelligence and advantageous (dark society) connections rather than the heart condition?
Does WT actually have Icons of men being held up as standards?
Is this why they have given mention to Issac Newton in the Sept. mag?
Did Jesus say only the smart ones will rule?
Who is really choosing these "heavenly rulers"....does WT speak on behalf of god, there, too?
M.J. :"Newton discovered calculus"
Good for him. I discovered ear wax.
Which do you think is more important in day to day life?
