I was in Thailand for that last meteor shower, when was it? About 6 yrs ago?
There was a big trance party on the beach and I expected a few bright lights(LOL). It was truly stunning seeing hundreds of golden strands from horizon to horizon. Maybe it was the condition I was in...

Alas, Dear Robdar! It was overcast where I watched last night. Even so, I did manage to see one faint star trail... and in the meantime... the drifting clouds on the bright moon were quite lovely and hypnotizing...
