Lady Lee was the guest, and Farkel, Flipper AllTime Jeff, Middleman, Mouthy and some other JWNers lent their voices to the mix. It was so cool to hear them talking! Sorry that I didn't mention everyone by name, but I didn't catch some of them.
Does anyone know which poster is Ted's nephew? I didn't catch his name.

Jamie, I, um, well, "enjoyed" isn't the right word, but your little experience was funny in its own way..... Thats the 2nd time I heard of that happening....

JAMIEBOWERS- Yeah, it was an interesting program tonight. I had to leave after my call as I was cooking a BBQ dinner for my wife. I wish I had heard your call you mentioned on the other thread I started. I'm sure it was good. I'm glad a lot of JWNers chimed in as I feel it's important to speak out against child/spousal abuse for it has gone on unchecked for far too long in the JW organization.
ALL TIME JEFF- I'm glad that after having been raised and in the JW's for 44 years I don't sound like a JW at all ! That's certainly hopeful and promising ! At least I've lost the cult jargon and expressions. But even after being out 6 years- I still find myself slipping and saying the " brothers or sisters " . It can get freaky sometimes ! I'm so glad you called the program as well and lent your voice to the discussion ! That's cool . Peace out, Mr. Flipper

Really? Are you sure you ddn't hear about it from me the first time? I've asked a few ex-elders about it privately, and I'm not sure if you were one of them. Can you imagine having to live with someone like that? It's been over 20 years, and I stil can hardly believe that someone would do something like that! Even my dear current husband, who is about as worldly as you can get, was embarrassed to talk to me about it.

I think that's because Farkel's voice sounds so mellow and sweet. From his funny posts, you'd think that he'd sound like George Carlin or some other funny guy.
Flipper's voice is so smooth that he coud be a radio announcer.

It's funny how the impressions we have of us all change when we hear or meet in real life...

Well, now at least I know someone else has done that kind of nastiness. It's not funny when you have to live with someone who has done that, but it is kind of funny now.
I've talked on the phone to many posters, and it is nice to hear their voices and to be able to have live conversations.
Hi Jamie. I can only imagine how horrified you must have been at the time. I am so happy that you are out of that mess.
To a point, I get that cults attract some fringe elements, but I still can't wrap my head around the fact that a group so small can have so many perv's running around in it.....
At least we're out...
well thanks fellas for coming on the call. I always expect there to be more women callers then men when people know I will be on a show so you were all a surprise - well almost all because I know a couple of you said you would try.

It's great to be able to put a voice to several of my favourite posters. I was listening on and off... missed Farkel and ATJ though. Oh well... I'll have to wait until the conference goes up on the website. Hope to maybe chat to a few of you next time.
