    1. That Leviathan is a locamotive;
    2. That Jehovah lives in the Dagobah System Pleiades;
    3. And most importantly, the Entrance Passage of the Great Pyramid measures 1542 inches, which represents the year 1542 BCE.

    You will die the Second Death at Armageddon if you don't believe the above.

    To follow the F&D Slave. The doctrines change but that does not.

    If you go to http://www.jwfacts.com/watchtower/questionable-watchtower-doctrine.php it shows a very interesting table of the most quoted Bible chapters in Watchtower literature. By far the most quoted is Matthew 24, with 50% more references then the next nearest Bible chapters. This shows what the core teaching is:

    The Last Days and the F&D Slave.

    Appart from that I think in the mind of a JW the core difference is that God is not a trinity.

    Approved association with Jehovah's Witnesses requires accepting the entire range of the true teachings of the Bible, including those Scriptural beliefs that are unique to Jehovah's Witnesses. What do such beliefs include?

    That the great issue before humankind is the rightfulness of Jehovah's sovereignty, which is why he has allowed wickedness so long. (Ezekiel 25:17) That Jesus Christ had a prehuman existence and is subordinate to his heavenly Father. (John 14:28) That there is a "faithful and discreet slave" upon earth today 'entrusted with all of Jesus' earthly interests,' which slave is associated with the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. (Matthew 24:45-47) That 1914 marked the end of the Gentile Times and the establishment of the Kingdom of God in the heavens, as well as the time for Christ's foretold presence. (Luke 21:7-24; Revelation 11:15–12:10) That only 144,000 Christians will receive the heavenly reward. (Revelation 14:1, 3) That Armageddon, referring to the battle of the great day of God the Almighty, is near. (Revelation 16:14, 16; 19:11-21) That it will be followed by Christ's Millennial Reign, which will restore an earth-wide paradise. That the first to enjoy it will be the present "great crowd" of Jesus' "other sheep."—John 10:16; Revelation 7:9-17; 21:3, 4.

    This to me is the most interesting because it outlines the specific teachings that you need to accept in order to be a Jehovah's Witness and what specifically separates them from other religions. The really funny part about it is that most of these teachings have changed over the years.

    If you look at these teachings it is quickly apparent that this is based on what makes them unique more so than what the important doctrines are. The important doctrines would regard the Ransom and Love. The Watchtower harps on about what makes them unique as a powerful form of control. When a JW thinks of leaving they are often mentally unable to because they start to ask "where could I go" that teaches the same doctrine. Yet these are not the important doctrine but simply the unique doctrine.
