They continue to exist because enough people are afraid to speak out against their deception.

To remain silent is to consent . We all have a choice and all that is needed for tyranny to succeed is that good men and women do nothing.

I so agree with the thought that deception can hurt people & we should speak out

Faked it for 6 years (Yes, I was a lurker here the whole time)

Not anymore. When my wife and kids go to all the meetings and I go to NONE.

    They have got the point.

I think this is true for some, but not necessarily for everyone. Many people still have family members who are very much involved with the WTS-family members that they need or that need them. I can see why they would choose to fake it to maintain a relationship.

I didn't have it in me to do that. I would have offed myself if I had to go to another meeting or assembly, not even for my family.

I see that Mr. Fake Flarke aka JCanon has morphed from a cigarette-smoking, drunken, dumpster-diving, homosexual drag queen and male Messiah into a cigarette-smoking, drug-using, wicca-dabbling, bikerchic, homosexual bull dike female.

He's sitting back with a smirk and saying to himself "catch me if you can!" and loving every moment of it. He just loves that shock value. Always has.

I fake, have to, no way for the next few years to change otherwise would loose family, friends etc...

meanwhile, in order to maintain kind of a good conscience, I try to use my influence to soften things, to make the load lighter, even occasionally question harsh doctrines, but have to do this very carefully...

its not a way I prefer, but atm the only way...

been out of the truth as long as I have and moved on..He was drunk. One brother my age in his middle 50,s at

Yes, Mrs Lukewarm and I are f a k e r s. We feel that the best way to help our families and friends discern the issues is to be on the inside.

Although we have slowed down, it's hard to continue with the activities knowing they have more to do with following the GB direction than actually pleasing God...

Have given 2 of our friend's "Crisis of conscience" - presently working on the 3 rd one. One side of the family has read "Crisis" and is going through "Christian freedom" (both can be ordered here http://www.commentarypress.com/Publication/English.html)

Spoke to another friend (elder) in a different cong recently about discovering Ray Franz - that I ordered his book and was left with much to think about. Was surprised when he admitted to me reading "crisis" some time ago but said: "where is one to go" and that he felt there was enough truth to keep it all together. Turns out he was not aware of Ray's second book which he wanted to order for himself after our conversation of the way it highlights our organizations deviation from scripture - offered to give him my copy next time I see him...

Slowly chipping away and using every opportunity to get the friends to think for themselves...
