I ask because in WT literatrash ,and other christian writings,we often read that we need to be doing God's will now.
What exactly does he expect of me ? I am willing, so to pinch a phrase "here I am,send me "

I believe John nailed it.
1 John 3:23 Again, this is God's command: to believe in his personally named Son, Jesus Christ.
He told us to love each other, in line with the original command. MSG
1 John 3:23 And this is his command:
to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. NIV

Eat, sleep, work, sex, have children, have Grandchildren, die........and don't bother him about all this cause he can't help you.
People people people...
Didn't you learn anything while a dubbie?
His will is for us to knock on doors, selling Watchtower books and magazines...
Snowbird is correct,
God's will for us is to love each other has Jesus loved us.
God wishes fo us to know his Son and has given us the gift of grace so that we know his son out of love and not with "ulterior" motives' or "dead works", but with love as a motive and with love as the motivation to live for God, through Jesus.
Of course, if for whatever reason you feel that Jesus is NOT YOUR way to God and yet you are righteous, I am sure God will have a palce for you, after all, it will be Jesus who judges, Jesus who saves and He will do so with Love.
God's will is for us to revel in song as we watch six billion people burned alive with fire at Argmageddon. And after that there is an after party where we can observe birds pecking the eyes out of the dead.
After that, we go back to being naked and enslaved, being bred as cattle to tend to the earth to make room for whatever master race is supposed to be here after us.
Honestly, I don't have a clue what God's will is for me. I have been very disappointed in him and his manner of handling affairs. A part of me still wants to believe and accept him in my life, yet another is saying why bother? More likely, the confusion comes from the new fading/questioning of the WT and trying to figure out where to go from there.
Girlie,
Ever read the books, "what's so amazing about Grace" and "the Jesus I never knew", by Philip Yancy?
No I haven't. I have much to learn in this journey. Not wanting to hijack the board, but if possible, I would like for some here to pm me some suggested reading materials. Would help much.
If I may be so bold as to suggest those two already stated :)
