Not a great idea.
I posted briefly while still an elder on Ronnies board. It was HELL on me to realize I was planning my esacape from a CULT, sit in on elders meetings, and trying my best not to yell out "I'm onto you suckas! Why the hell do we have to talk Brother Old Elder out of spying on his grandson in law in the hopes that he is boinking someone else so his bratty grandaughter can move on in her torrid hurricane search to destroy more men...." (pant, pant.... whew! I digress)
It's hell being an elder and READING here, let alone posting here.
For any lurking elders, i can only say, there are men here who understand the hell you are going through. Trust me. And you don't have to reveal yourselves at all, unless you want to and are ready for it.

Farkel, I figured it isn't a secret & most have posted this info buried in various threads. I just thought in would be nice to see which ones posting are active elders. maybe I was wrong. no harm intended. now, thinking about it, maybe that was a bad thread idea. my reasoning is when I was first lurking here I was scarred $hitless to even be here, you know the whole "Jehovah is going to destroy me" thing.
Back then, It made me feel a little better that the "spiritual giants" elders posting here had the same doubts / anger. It actually was "encouraging" for me. That is the only reason I thought I'd try this. Now, you're right, I guess I don't care too much. I just enjoy hearing peoples stories, and speculating on the WT downfall.

Actually, I give a sh*t. Knowing that an elder is active can be useful when we hear rumors about something new within the Organization. (Personally, I wouldn't give out too much personal info on this sort of thread---but that's me).
