Hello I am new to this site. I am not sure if im posting in the right spot but have a few questions. I am no way a jw never have been and never will be. I know someone though that is. He constantly talks all about the jws and crap well he is supposed to get baptised in sept. Now I wanna know if him doing some bad things he should even be a jw. He is having sex with his daughter. She is legal age and an adult, he is married, he chews tobacco, he cnstantly looks at porn

but yet he tells me how im supposed toa ct.

How is it a crime three both legal. But im not asking about that legalness im asking about how this would affect him being a jw

If it is his genetic daughter - Incest is illegal. You didn't specify whether step daughter or genetic.

yomama83, I don't know about the laws where you live, but incest is illegal in the US. Incest, smoking and adultery are disfellowshipping offenses in the WTS world. People who are doing those things and the elders know it, cannot be baptized as a jw.

if the elders in his congregation knew what he was doing he would not be approved to get baptised.

Sex outside of marriage - NOT ALLOWED (and as others have said what he is doing is illegal and should be reported to the police)
Chewing tobacco - NOT ALLOWED
Looking at Porn - NOT ALLOWED

Now keep in mind they won't take your word for it. they want evidence and if you don't have evidence that want TWO PEOPLE who witnessed the crimes.

Well I do have proof so should I turn him into his elders? Also His wife son and mother both know he dips and looks at porn and all go to the same kingdom hall. I have been told he could be kicked out of the jehovas witness is that true andis it wrong of me to hope so?

If you have proof that could convict him, turn him in to the police. The Elders may already know & be turning a blind eye to it.

Elders will distance themselves (read DF him) over scandals of that nature when it becomes public.

As far as the other stuff..... if it bothers you so much then the next time a JW knocks at your door tell them you would never be interested in being a JW because Mr. Incest, porn-watching, tobacco fiend is a JW and you have seen what sorts they are!...... Then when they refute his actions then say well he ain't been excomunicated by yall so I take that as support of his actions.

the police are the people to deal with this sort of thing, is there something else going on? woman scorned or summat?
