Ah yes, the protective parent ploy. Wether or not there is mal intent ... which is very difficult to proof since we do not have the documantary trail to back such an assertion up .... the least we can say they, despite perhaps an alleged well intent, which is not been proven either for the same reason, they are stupid. They would fight to the death in order not to hand over any docs that could protect victims of child abuse.They would fight to the death anyone who ever challenged them on their bad policies. Of course they abhor child abuse ..... but their works show different.

O, and what happened to Peter Mosier with his site: quotes? Their reasoning was completely wrong. Unfortunately, mr. Mosiers pockets were not as deep as the WBTS's. It was not about copyright infringement. It was about a logical approach in demonstrating how embarressing their own dogma's are. And they affirmed that in court!

If they were that protective: I wonder why their so famous charitable works are blinding for absence.....

I think the point that was trying to be made is that the WTBTS does excomunicate people that are proven to engage in immoral behaviour where as say these people were in the catholic ,the church would not take action at all just like in the case of adolph hitler or pedophile preists that they just moved them to a new location . Of course I've never been in the JW religion like many on the board so don't have personal experiences of what politics are involved with remaining in good standing .

The bad press is a good thing to make people realize that the JWS has its dirty laundry on the line just like

so many others. Their recent Awake article regarding pedophilia does make it obvious that they are a bit on the defensive

mode a little, but frankly these other situations or connections to the JWS do not grab the media attention enough to cause

that much damage in a realistic way.

If you think about what the pedophilia cases did to the Catholic church, it had little effect on hurting them to date.

These things eventually get forgotten and are barely remembered in the conscientiousness of the faithful believers.

Of course not to undermined the exposure and the resolution that came out of theses situations.
