Diane Sawyer - World Nightly News

I'm sure she is a real nice person, but I was disappointed to learn that Diane Sawyer was replacing Charles Gibson on the World Nightly News. She's always been very difficult to watch since whenever she disagrees with someone she's interviewing, she gets this "I just smelled something obscene" look on her face. After that, her face freezes in this very sour look for some time. It's a distracting turn-off.

She's come a long way since reporting the weather, that's for sure. I've never understood the facination though. What did I miss?

I like her, I hope she is happy doing the nightly news.

Her and Robin seem to have great fun, very classy and professional in the am.

Much different than what Hoda and Kathy Leedo.

Glad to see Charlie retiring, He is a great guy, I think he is bailing at a good time for him.

I think that Robin really carries the show in the morning not Diane... Robin's the only reason I watch. She is professional and although it is plain enough when she does not agree with a person she is interviewing, I have never seen her become judgmental with a guest. I have seen Diane and Chris both grow rude with a guest, but never Robin. With Diane taking over the World Nightly News, I'll most likely stop watching and find another program...

I'll definitely miss Charles... even though I don't like some of his politics, he has done a really good job... it was one of my favorite news shows.

As I was just watching the end of the Good Morning America

I had to come back and post how much I like Robin.

She is top notch.

Robin may have been a better choice, BUT

I think it takes less talent to do the Nightly News

than the Morning Show.

Nothing against Dianne,

I think Robin is very genuine and Dianne is more bought into

the media robot persona.
