Oct.15th WT GB Tells JW Rank & File-You are Our Belongings Stay Humble

  The mind control in this latest Oct.15th is amazing. Our lurking JW friend sent us this and it basically tellls witnesses that their opinions don't matter and only God is good . It belittles independent thinking and explains that each rank and file JW is owned by the alleged " faithful and discreet slave " . It is taken from the first study article " Be Aglow with the Spirit " .

  In paragraph 7 it states, " Our being adequately qualified issues from God . Therefore, we should not glorify ourselves. We should humbly recognize that any fruitage we may have in our ministry is the result of God's blessing, NOT OUR OWN COMPETENCE. " ( Translation : We could have anybody deliver our WT message to people , you are nothing special. You are just a vehicle or tool that God, er the WT society is using. ) After quoting the scripture that tells us not to think more of ourselves than necessary the article continues, " It is necessary that we have self-respect and find joy and satisfaction in our kingdom service . " ( Do you think ? ) It continues, " However, being modest, or being aware of our limitations , will prevent us from BECOMING OPINIONATED . " ( Translation : We know you want self respect but you won't get self respect by BECOMING OPINIONATED ! You'll get self respect by doing what WE tell you to do ! And saying what WE want you to say. OH- And by the way you need to learn to enjoy it. )

  So essentially rank and file witnesses are being told that they ARE NOT COMPETENT . And they can't have ANY OPINIONS outside of what they are told by the WT society. No wonder witnesses have low self esteem.

  Next notice THIS quote from paragraph 10, " Today, the other sheep are part of " all things " placed by Jehovah under the headship of his son. They are also among the " belongings " that Christ has entrusted to his " FAITHFUL AND DISCREET SLAVE " . Those with an earthly hope SHOULD THEREFORE , recognize Christ as their head and BE SUBMISSIVE to the FAITHFUL AND DISCREET SLAVE and it's GOVERNING BODY and to the MEN APPOINTED as OVERSEERS in the congregation. " ( Translation : We, the WT society own you the rank and file publisher. You are our BELONGING. Don't forget that fact. You need to obey us, you SHOULD obey us because essentially if you have seen us- you've seen God Jehovah and Jesus. )

  I truly feel sorry that 7 million people have given over their power to these old men in New York. The rank and file Jehovah's Witnesses are being conned into giving up the control of their lives to men WHO WANT that power and control over them. This is typical of mind control cults to make their members feel worthless and powerless within themselves. And for any of us who have Jehovah's Witness family still attending- THIS is what they will teach our family in December ! So- How do you feel about this information ? Does it make you mad as it does me that people's freedom is taken from them ? As always I look forward to any and all comments you have ! Hope you all are well.   As long as your god is WTS, that much is true. They tell you what to say and you only do it to get time in.
  All the benefit is for enriching WTS anyway. What self-competent person goes around volunteering their time
  to sell magazines that nobody really wants and spends their own money doing it?

  Yes, any idiot can deliver magazines and invitations. Any idiot can say the important thing is to rack up time, regardless of how unproductive it is.

  It is necessary that we have self-respect and find joy and satisfaction in our kingdom service .

  Keep saying it so they will believe it, those that don't find satisfaction in "service" say that they do. They are afraid to admit the truth about it.

  That's what the whole article is about. "Just be submissive, do what they say."

  How do you feel about this information ?

  I feel like those WT-colored glasses are pretty powerful. How could I not see through stuff like this for so long?

  Most in the congo's will be either away on holidays or day dreaming of their holiday break and the above mind controlling info will most likely slip "under the radar" sadly.....

  Hopefully it may wake a few up (like my wifey!)

  is exactly the kind of thing I tell my man that bothers me about what JWs are taught. They ARE NOT taught to think for themselves. He gets so mad when I say they just listen to the men in Brooklyn, but it's true and to me, this demonstrates it! Will the AWAKE! for the same time period reflect any of these messages? I don't really know how the magazines work, but I love seeing the watered down version when I know what's in the private stuff.

  I mean, seriously, not to post twice in a row, but I just reread that sentence and I still can't believe a normal human would read that sentence and be okay with it!!!!!! W-O-W!!!!!

  I know what you're saying and feel the same but i learned not to get my blood boiling at the

  brainwashing that goes on anymore since most of us did the same for decades and obeyed

  the GB and felt good in submitting ourselves to them thinking we were pleasing Jehovah.

  In my line of work i meet witnesses every week and i just have to say they enjoy being in their brainwashed state,

  especially the older ones that have been in the organizationfor 40-50 years.

  In time the watchtower will fade but we might not be around to see it.

  Yes thats pretty disgusting alright, anyone who doubts the JWS are not mind controlled slaves by a bunch corrupt ignorant old men who run

  a publishing corporation.

  The biggest problem is as many have found out and come to realize is we were involved with promoting the Watchtower's own ministry,

  not one one that was approved and guided by god.

  The WTS. is an invention of manipulation and exploitation , it may not have started out that way but it certain evolved into one.

  There was always a hidden commercial agenda with the WTS. as far back as C T Russell's days.

  As they say some times you really have to read between the lines to derive at the real truth.

  That particular article like so many others has the psychological potential to lock people mentally into the hands

  of the leaders of the WTS, in other words if you get close with us you'll be aglow the protection of god's holy spirit,

  from Satan's wicked system of things right to its end at Armageddon.

  Your personally security is with us and only us........trust us we never lie or have mislead anyone

  This part is truly egregious:

  In other words, "Modest people don't think for themselves. Modest people don't question what we say."

  It's also sickening how they use the words "our limitations" and "prevent us", as if they're including themselves, when the fact is THEY are the only ones in the cult that are allowed to have an opinion. Or, is what they are printing straight from God, and therefore not their own opinion? Oh, right... It's ALL from God except when it isn't. How do you know if it isn't? Well, easy. They change it.

  So, if a salesman comes to your door and tries to sell you a "magic potion" that can cure all that ales you, and you are naturally skeptical, and tell him, "No thanks. That's impossible. All evidence shows that no such potion can exist and because of that I think you're trying to scam me." Is THAT being haughty and opinionated? Is questioning what an authority figure tells you being haughty and opinionated?

  The Watchtower would have you think so. At least when it comes to THEIR "authority".
