But has anyone ponted out to the dollar-hungry WBT$ that if the big A is soooooo close, what is the point of money in a Will that should never be used ??

I am off to the bank to donate...
These booklets tell jws how to donate and invest through the WTS nonprofit corporation that will make it a tax break for the donator/investor.
So there is a financial advantage to the one donating. It is not just a straight shot giving of money to the WTS.
Ah ahhh..... this explains a lot for me.... I had noticed that a few of the 'leading' families of JW's in the cong where I live all drove nice cars, owned a few investment properties, businesses (accountants and tax consultants), and all seemed to be "living the life" of comfort and luxury-so to speak- so remaining a JW is not only good for business and keeping up appearences, but it's now $$$ profitable as well.
Personally I'd rather stay poor!
Dont recall Jesus having a porche for a donkey/ass.
Modest and humble come to mind when i think of Jesus.
