So basically a tweaked version of a story from Christendom.
Bangalore
When the authorities see that the boy has no scars whatsoever from any supposed "alligator" but is covered in scars from his mother, they will take him away and put him in a better home. The only abuse comes from the WTS.
Of course it is Bangalore. It's not the first time; I find it funny when even public speakers pick up these "inspirational" stories that are abundant on the Internet, and present them sprinkled with Watchtower dogma. On one public speech the speaker presented an inspirational story whose message was clearly carpe diem - live for the day - and he twisted it to show us that we need to go out in field service even more. It was so funny I wondered why noone seemed to notice the true message.
But, some wounds, my friend, are because Jehovah has refused to let go.
When you think about who Jehovah is taught to be, the above line makes no sense at all.
When you think about who Jehovah "really" is, the above line is absolutely true.
"The swimming hole of
life is filled with peril -"
Three thoughts:
That is classically bad.
Its amazing what Blondie can uncover on the Web.
Plagerism??? JW's would never do that.
God I wish the story would have been shorter and more realistic!
Some years ago on a hot summer day in south Florida a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole behind his house.
In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went. He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore.
His mother–in the house was looking out the window–saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, she ran toward the water, yelling to her son as loudly as she could. Hearing her voice, the little boy became alarmed and made a U-turn to swim to his mother.
It was too late. Just as he reached her, the alligator reached him.
"HMMM, thought the alligator - they really do taste like chicken!!!"
This was a poor choice of stories to snatch from Christendom, because the jw boy would've died in surgery from the lack of a blood transfusion.
Thank-you Jehovah for making little boy eating alligators
and yet another story plagurised. Can't they come up with anything original
