    I don't believe I attacked your style, did I? I don't recall that.

I think I wondered aloud why anyone would want to read a 5000 word post that rambled all over the place. But that's just me. As far as ignoring your posts due to the excessive verbose nature - rest assured I always do.

SA, whose "style" may just be to ramble... in about 5,000 words or so...

May you have peace! You state:

    "... Jesus has an arrangement..."

Would you be kind enough to tell me (1) what that arrangement is, specifically, and (2) the basis for such arrangement? And please note that I am meaning the basis as set forth by Christ himself, or at least where it [this usually means the Bible] says HE says it's his arrangement, or that anyone [in the Bible] says it's his arrangement, but not counting, please, the WTBTS basis... unless it's in the Bible.

Please note... I am not a Bible-advocate, per se; however, I do understand that there are many who still put their faith in it as God's "word" and so need to see things in writing. For me, all I need to know is that it is from the Holy Spirit. Since the WTBTS literally denies direct communication with, and direct direction by, the Holy Spirit... and teaches that God speaks to us through a book... rather than through His Son... I will accept substantiation from the Bible, if you can provide it.

Again, I am not trying to be contentious, argumentative, or disagreeable. I am asking from the same place of sincerity as you because my life could be involved. So, if you would accommodate me, I would greatly appreciate it. Therefore, show me, please? Thank you!

I remain your servant and, perhaps, fellow (?) slave of Christ,

    SA

    Pjs:

First Rabbit, So sorry you lost your mom. She died with her faith in tact. She will be resurrected. And let us hope you will be there to greet her.

And...Second ?? To say I'm disgusted with your reply -- would be an extraordinary understatement.

You started this thread asking a question, yet you're totally without understanding or empathy for the reality of the answer: Yes ! JW's DO "follow men" -- that's where they have placed their faith -- in men. These JW religious leaders LED my mom to her death, as she believed their explantion about blood transfusions. They've made over 200 such New Light Bulb changes since first banning it in the 1940's. Think of all the Witnesses who died following the Watchtower's Current Light -- only to have it CHANGED !!!!!! And, never an apology, never a "whoops...did we say that?" Never a, "Thank you for your ____Fill in loved one's name_____ Human Sacrifice (unnecessary as it was)".

What about another similar deadly JW issue -- organ transplants? For decades, a transplant was considered "cannibilism" and was a disfellowshipping matter. JW's, being the gullible, easily misled, unquestioning they're taught to be -- gleefully offered themselves as human sacrifices based on the GB's word. They just had to die. It was expected. So-o-o...just like real sheep, easily led to slaughter -- they refused those organ transplants. Then, in the mid 80's -- the Olde Light Bulb burned out -- the New Light revealed Organ Transplants were 'OK'. The Watchtower Corporation changed The Truth once again...with deadly consequences.

Can you not admit that JW's "following men" of the WT CAUSED their deaths ??? We are not talking about some dumbass scriptural words' interpretation on some obscure doctrinal point -- we are talking about literal life & death matters.

And you say, "She will be resurrected." Wow...how comforting. THAT makes her death OK, eh? Did I mention she's cold and dead ? Let me repeat: The WT told her to refuse hemoglobin, she complied and died. Then, they said hemoglobin was, "OK", a mere "conscience matter."

You don't see the hypocrisy in that ?? Give me a real answer, dammit.
