Don't forget about the Avon lady and the rapist. The Christians and Mormons have their version of this story, too. Just replace the WT with the Book of Mormon and you'll have the Mormon's story. The Christian one is not door to door but a walk on a path with a rapist on the other side.

Because Smurfs are cartoon characters. They have no real, tangible being. They are ink on a page and pictures on a screen. Hate to break this to you, but fictional characters are not real things.
