I just sent off my resume for a job.

I have a pretty good recommendation already

and know three people that work there.

But these young ones just out of college

    are getting the work now.

I really, really, really, really, NEED it!

Very difficult to find jobs here

Best wishes for a good outcome. I know what it's like, I've been at it awhile myself. That fact that you know people there is worth a lot. You know something about the place and the kind of people that work there.

    Good luck!

I'll do it for you if you do it for me. I've been out of work for four months and I'm supposed to be hired next week, but this company is not instilling me with a lot of confidence.

I hope you really, really, really, really get it. Power to you.

It is very difficult to find a job anywhere these days. Recommendations and knowing someone that works there really do give you a much better chance. I'm pulling for ya.

I feel for everyone needing a job, wanting a job, and having a hard time getting one.

We are a little more fortunate than some. Our work did slow way down, so we decided to live on less and semi-retire early.

Less stress for my wife, she is happier and has more time to ride her horse.

    Good luck on your endeavors.

I feel for you. I have been laid off twice in two years. You will be glad to know that two Americans(competition for full time jobs) are going out of the country -one to a newly created job. One to happy and guilt free unemployment:)That's me.

It can be so demoralizing to go through long term unemployment. The blessing for you though is that you are in good company. Nowadays long term unemployment doesn't need much in the way of excuses-it's all too common. I hope you get the job. I hope it is wonderful! My fingers are SO crossed for you and you have my affection as always,

    Shelly

It can be so demoralizing to go through long term unemployment.

It plays on your mind and spirit, gets to your self-esteem.

Thankfully, I have supportive family (my kids)

I have an interview at 3:00 today.

This is a job to last for four months, I do work for my sons construction business,

but the winter is never great for construction.

My son is better planned for this winter, by starting another business.

We, as a family are doing what we can to keep the business afloat.
