Jesus is the sole mediator for Christians, obviosuly if one does NOT believe the Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is the mediator then he he can't be.

I agree,P Sac, of course our Lord is there for all,and truly He " is not far away from each one of us. " Anybody who reaches out towards him,even with very little faith,will be found by Him.

Yes, Outlaw, Jesus is mediator for the masses - Jews first.

Jesus being God, that POV, was "arrived" at by, amongst other things, understanding the role of Jesus in the NC.

See, in the old covenant, the Saviour and redeemer and Judge of ALL was God, but in the NC it is Jesus.

How can Jesus "take the place of God" unless he is God ?

We know that this role and all the "power and authority" that came with it, was given to Jesus on his ressurection, when he sat at the right hand of God and began his rule over all, whe know this because the bible tell us that in various places.
