Ok, what I tried to say 4 hours ago when the @#$! site kept glitching is that was a very weird interview. I would write to someone higher up in the company. Even if they agree with her religious beliefs, someone's got to see that she's a lawsuit waiting to happen. I hope you're able to either keep your job or find one you like even better.
This video made me think. I put a statue of the Buddha on my desk about two weeks before I got canned. I wouldn't be at all surprised if that had something to do with it. I was a temp so they didn't need a valid reason to fire me. It still burns me up.

Dude, you remind me of a good friend of mine when I was a JW. You're mannerisms and sense of humor are strikingly similar.
I always thought I was original :) I'm glad I can remind you of someone you liked from your past.
I'm kind of torn on whether it was out of line or not. The thing is I feel the way I said "it brings up some uncomfortable memories of knocking on doors as a Jehovahs Witness" it was clearly a joke. I know she even took it that way, I can see that leading certainly to a question asking if I had left or not. I can see why religion would come up in the conversation, I don't know who in their right mind would say "I trust you've accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and savior".

I don't think that's the case because I don't think people would even know what it was. They would think it was some asian decoration. I had Flying Spaghetti Monster stuff at my desk before and it never caused a problem.
