i must say, though they feel a little "uppity", they came in quite handy.I kept forgetting which charm was mine and started drinking out of Neil's mom's wine glass. We kinda laughed and I said, "Well, these wine charms aren't working very well are they?"

I know you asked about "this year's" gifts, but I have to share a story with you. I am 32 years old. When I was about 7 or 8, all I wanted for christmas was the NFL Electric Football Game. You know, the one that sounds like an electric razor on crack and the players vibrate up and down the field! I woke up about 6:00 AM christmas day, ran downstairs and saw a gift wrapped up about the same size as the Football game. I was so excited. I ripped off the wrapping and it turned out to be one of those hockey games where you swat around the puck using knobs. I was soooooooo disappointed! :o( I hated hockey! I still never received a valid explanation of why my parents bought me that dumb (IMO) hockey game! I still yearn for the Electric Football game!

I just got one of my favorites (it's hard to choose just one) today. My co-worker/friend made me a hand beaded ornament. It is so beautiful! It certainly wins the prize for most beautiful gift, and I appreciate the work that went into it.
