I realize you believe the Bible is the truth. Do you believe it is the ONLY truth? I wonder how you feel about other major religious books, like for other religions who have and never will be Christian. Do you believe they are lost? Or do you think they ALSO have truth?

After the WTS, I judge as little as possible....
However your thread does make me think of question I have regarding other religions.
Like final destination, purpose, endtimes and salvation.

This seems to be a popular question.
As a Christian, yes, I believe the bible is true. I believe that the holy scriptures are the ONLY inspired words of God. Any other so-called religious works are nothing but counterfeits and deceptions. I can't tell you who is saved and who isn't. Only God knows that. He is the only one that can judge someone's heart.
However, God did leave for us, through His word, clear instructions on how to gain salvation. The bible says that Jesus is the only way to salvation. Rom 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." John 14:6 "Jesus answered, ""I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"".
I realize that may not be the answer that people want to hear. I know some won't like it and will probably hate me for it but I am not doing anyone any favors by trying to sugarcoat the scriptures. And believe me, it would be easier just to say what everyone wants to hear. No one wants to be despised, especially me. But as a true believer who wants to be faithful to God's word, I must speak the truth. When I believe something, I believe in it 100%, otherwise I wouldn't bother. That's why i didn't last as a JW - I just could not believe in them. But I do love the Lord and I believe in the bible. God's word is God's word. It can stand on it's own. I make no apology for it.

I believe truth starts and ends with Jesus. He has some bold claims
John 14:6 (New International Version)
6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 1:17 (New International Version)
17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
1 John 5:20 (New International Version)
20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
Others believe Jesus was a good man, a teacher, a prophet and such. It is usually at the point of "God with us" Matthew 1:23 that many start disagreeing or saying "blasphemy" Matthew 26:65 Luke 5:21 John 10:33
There are many that come in Christ's name Luke 21:8 and "in place of Christ" and deceive many Mark 13:6
Clearly, the WT fit that description. They use Jesus' name and claim they are the mediator for the JWs, not Christ.
So back to Jesus, test out His words, see if they are Spirit and truth as He claims. Also listen out to His Spirit of Truth John 15:26 John 16:13

I believe that those the Lord calls if for a specific purpose, that is to assist the Lord as his body membe4rs to bless the world of mankind. ALL, every man, women and child who ever lived, regardless of religious affiliation or non-religious affiliations will be helped up the highway of holiness.
Only after the knowledge of the Lord fills the earth and they forefeit what was done for them UNDER knowledge, will they be lost.
