I like hiking/biking trips
LOVE LOVE LOVE canoeing or kayaking! (total fav right now!)
Actually most activities sponsored by my local Parks and Wildlife department or County Ag-extension office.
Don't really like camping (prefer the cabins) but ususally don't get that because hubby never met a tent he didn't like!
Equine adventures are always awesome.
I like my berry patch right now better then my veggie garden!
I also love hammocking in the breeze.
Quiet morning moments at sunrise on the back porch 60 seconds before kiddos wake-up..........

I enjoy just being outdoors especially on gorgeous african summer days! Can't be beat!
Will be going into the country this weekend - Kzn - Ixopo - going to do some painting...not that I'm a painter but I will mix and match and mess :)
Plus don't forget you can always gaze at the stars.

I'm assuming you do river kayaking (since you mentioned canoeing)... do you have any favorite places, perhaps on the west-cost or in the rockies?

I love the seasonal activites people engage in. At the moment many people (including myself) are hunting the last of the season's sweet chestnuts and horse chesnuts.
sweet chesnuts - good for roasting and eating horse chesnuts - slightly poisonous but good for warding of spiders -

I'm with dissed.... horseback riding is one of my all time fave activities! I would love to go backpacking with horses one day. I love the outdoors... hiking, camping, gardening, photography, snowmobiling...
Anyone ever done any winter camping? I would love to try this but haven't had the time lately or had anyone else interested. Could you imagine what this would look like in reality? Awesome! If you ever get the chance to see the Northern Lights in colour, take it. Simply amazing.

I love walking my dog. I am lucky enough to live in a rural area with plenty of wildlife and walks where you don't see many people (in the uK that is quite difficult).
