This is what happens when you don't venture out of the county for decades. They honestly can't see themselves and how they look. They can't even hear sometimes what they are saying.....
When ex JW's sometimes say "No one really cares about JW's..... etc etc etc" its stuff like this that is the reason. Any normal person will come across clear attempts at mind control and censorship, check off JW's as a cult, or at the least, a weird group to be avoided, and move on. Sort of how I handle Scientology...
