    Hi everyone,

I'm new but it's nice to be among people who feel the same I do. I am a beginning fader. I was raised in the "truth" and am/was very popular elder's daughter and social life of the congregations. Always involved. Regular pioneer early in life. My family is still very involved but i recently married and moved away which makes the fade a little easier. My husband has been fading for a while. We wanna do the complete fade but for family and my friends it's taken a little longer that he would like. It's a new thing for me - i'm used to the double life which i had no problem with but he does. All in all it's getting there. Im just trying to meet new people and make new friends since obviously all of my old friends will soon disappear.

    Just a little intro...

Hi there, and welcome to the forum...

I'm in a similar situation...(honestly almost identical). It is definitely refreshing to talk to others who feel the same way, right?

    welcme from a fellow fader

    do you have any resources
    beyond an XJW discussion forum?

work? college? a real "service" group
like food bank or women's shelter or
    humane association? political interest group?

although i realize it is important to
have a community that "gets it"
about having been in/exited a cult,
    i heartily recommend relationships
    completely devoid of JW commonality!
