Okay, since you threw down the spoiler, I liked the ending.
Why?
I watched in on an international overnight flight from Portugal to South Africa. The ending has the Earth stabilizing and the new roof of the world is the Drakensberg mountains in KwaZulu-Natal South Africa. Within a couple weeks of seeing it I was in those mountains. Nice touch. I know where to go when the fit hits the shan.
