I think being incorrect and vocal is much worse, because it gets nothing accomplished. JMO
It is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt.
Honestly, speak up, if you're wrong, you're wrong! At least you learned something and got some dialog going!

I concur.
I'm a big fan of silent observation. I'm a big people watcher and actually learn alot from observing other peoples' interactions. You can save yourself alot of embarassment by taking the time to listen before you speak.
