Pointing out that somebody opposing the WTBTS is, in your opinion, bitter, NO WAY DISPROVES what they are saying.
I had most of my life stolen a second at a time by that religion, and yes I am bitter.
Who wouldnt be? Nobody realises they have been cheated either by a long time spouse or a cult then says: "Ho hum, it makes me so happy to know this doesnt really matter to me."

Wilbur was never a dub. He has a ministry reaching out to those with JW spouses. He has researched them extensively...also posed as an interested person to study with JWs.
Wilbur's Response to the Bible Teach book is very valuable to consult with during a study. I have used many of its ideas and questions to enhance the experience of studying that book with JWs and I can see they are not always prepared to give a sensible answer to many of the questions.
This is especially interesting if you record the study. JWs are capable of speaking some really priceless gems in trying to convert someone.

Kurt, it was never that complicated of a theology, a little pinch of this and that. Russell's septum-millenialism took a little more work but reading some of Miller's works shows the basis for much of it. Once you read a little of Plato and Socrates you understand where hypostatic union came from. We are all God..... eh, or as my old friend and theology professor would joke wryly- where is God not!
